Quantum-Computing Education & Research in Kentucky

About: Projects

This section is for sharing projects related to quantum computing.

KREQC: Kentucky’s Rotationally Emulated Quantum Computer KREQC (pronounced “creek”) is Kentucky’s Rotationally Emulated Quantum Computer. It is a quantum computer that works at room temperature – and it is an open source design, so you can build your own for under $100. It’s not useful as a computer, but it makes a great demonstration of how quantum computation works. You’ve probably heard quite a lot about quantum computing… and understand just a little.
